Our Services
-
My counseling services are rooted in Attachment Theory, focusing on helping individuals and couples build stronger emotional bonds and resolve attachment-related issues. By exploring patterns of connection, trust, and emotional security, I work with clients to understand how early experiences shape their current relationships. Together, we identify attachment styles and work through challenges like communication breakdowns, emotional disconnection, and unresolved trauma.
-
My consultation services provide expert guidance to individuals, professionals, and organizations looking to enhance their understanding of Attachment Theory and its application in therapeutic settings. With years of experience working with diverse populations, including military families and marginalized communities, I offer tailored insights and strategies for improving relational dynamics, emotional well-being, and client outcomes.
-
My clinical supervision services offer comprehensive support and guidance to mental health professionals seeking to deepen their skills and understanding, particularly in the areas of Attachment Theory, trauma, and working with marginalized populations. As an Approved Clinical Supervisor with over 26 years of experience, I provide a collaborative and reflective environment where supervisees can explore clinical challenges, ethical considerations, and personal growth as therapists.
-
My CEU courses are designed to provide mental health professionals with practical, evidence-based knowledge, with a particular focus on Attachment Theory, trauma, and working with specialized populations like military families and marginalized communities. Each course offers an in-depth exploration of key topics, blending theoretical understanding with real-world applications to enhance clinical skills and improve client outcomes.

When I first started therapy with Marchell, I Connected with her immediately. She is very down-to-earth and empathetic to your needs and concerns. As we continued therapy on a 1-to-1 basis, it became apparent that involving my spouse was a Necessary next step. She said that if we could not resolve our marital difficulties within four sessions we would decide to go elsewhere. This was not a promise but rather a goal, and I have to say that I’m very pleased with the results. She was right when she said it would get worse before it got better! But it did get better and I am extremely grateful for Marchell’s professional and sharing support through the process..
Work With Me On-Line.
As a professional licensed counselor and board-certified coach, I have been delivering services online since 2012. I have witnessed major transformation of many of my clients centered around their individual goals in life, love, and careers.
As a licensed professional I offer both counseling and coaching services to my clients, the first part of our journey is the Discovery Call, where we talk about your goals and aspirations. This is a vital part of our new partnership together.
Online services can both replace or enhance traditional therapy and coaching sessions. Working with a professional will ensure you are receiving the most effective services possible.
This is for those of us who may feel a little nervous about a new experience. Here’s what you can prepare to face during the first session:
We’ll mostly be getting to know each other during our first day. We might do some paperwork if you didn’t have a chance to get to it before our appointed time. We will explore why you are seeking therapy and what you hope to achieve during our time together. I’ll ask some questions to get to know you better, and so that our therapy sessions can be better tailored to your unique experiences. This will be one of many opportunities to share about yourself, and maybe open up about what kind of therapy you prefer (or not prefer). I’ll provide information on what the process of therapy looks like moving forward. You’ll also have time to ask me questions about anything relevant to my role as your therapist during the last part of the session. The last thing we usually do is to cover the more practical, logistical portion of therapy (i.e. scheduling, payment, etc). I’ll then ask if you’d like to schedule a next session if you feel like we’re a good match.

Marchell Coleman has helped me work through very tough situations that came my way that I did not think I would be able to get out of so quickly physically and mentally. I am beyond grateful to have been paired with Marchell, as her expertise in therapy shines through in sessions. For me, from the very first session, I realized I was feeling more comfortable day to day with everything going on when I was in a very foggy state of mind for months. I recommend Marchell Coleman to anyone!”
